Metabolic Balance is a comprehensive whole food program based on individual care as well as the creation of an individualised nutrition plan.
The purpose of the individualised nutrition plan is to guid you on:
What foods to eat to provide the right nutrients you need
How much of these foods you need to be healthy
When to consume the foods
How to make this a whole lifestyle change for long lasting health
The thing my clients love about Metabolic Balance is that, so many of my clients just want to be told what to eat but also be taught how to prepare the meals themselves. It takes the thinking/puzzling out of it, however its teaching you what to do.
So How Does Metabolic Balance Work?
Metabolic Balance provides you with your own personalised nutrition plan that is completely individualised for you. It is based on the following information:
Comprehensive Blood Test - 36 blood markers
Your body measurements
Your personal health data including medications and health conditions
Then you receive coaching and support while you learn this new way of eating as you move through the 4 phases. .
Using your meal plan across the 4 Phases with coaching over approximately a 16 week timeframe
The 4 Phases include:
Phase 1 - The Preparation Phase
This is the preparation phase, which lasts for two days. On Day 1, you'll undergo a digestive cleanse which I will support you with. This is to get your body ready for change and ensure your digestion is working optimally. If you experience chronic constipation, I may work with you for a week or 2 getting you regular before we begin.
Reset your Metabolism
Metabolism is at the core of all the body’s essential chemical reactions. Every second, your body undergoes biochemical processes of building, breaking down, and transforming nutrients delivered to your cells. These processes are crucial for enabling all your vital bodily functions.
Key processes that rely on a healthy metabolism include:
Growth and tissue repair
Oxygen delivery to all organs
Detoxification through the liver
The metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and minerals
Therefore… Metabolism is about so much more than weight loss!
A well-balanced metabolism enhances your energy levels and overall well-being. Metabolic disorders occur when the metabolism becomes dysregulated, often due to nutrient deficiencies, missing enzymes, or issues with the pancreas, liver, endocrine glands, and other organs involved in metabolism.
Common issues linked to metabolic disorders include weight gain and diabetes. However, dietary changes can help improve your metabolism, balance blood sugar, regulate weight, and prevent many metabolic diseases.

Phase 2 - Metabolic Adjustment Phase
The first 2 weeks we are cooking without fats and oils. This is easier than you realise and I will support you with easy recipes. This is where we are learning how to eat and what to eat. After 2 weeks we begin using healthy fats and oils.
It is recommended to set aside a few weeks to focus on learning these new skills and enjoy the art of nourishing your body.
During this stage, it's important to follow your plan strictly. However, there will be occasional treat days. We've consistently found that clients who stick closely to their plans for an extended period, without making excuses, experience the most lasting success. Your metabolism becomes more resilient and can handle small lapses more easily after having time to fully stabilize.
Most people feel so good that they find this easy to do. For people who find this difficult I recommend starting with some hypnotherapy before we begin where we can get your mindset ready and excited for change and deal with any sugar cravings or emotional eating patterns.
There are also some supplements that we can use to support through this stage - if necessary.
Phase 3
In Phase 3, portion sizes are gradually increased, and new foods are introduced under my guidance. During this phase, many clients notice they no longer react to food as they used to.
You may find that your taste preferences have shifted, and once reintroduced, sweets, burgers, and processed foods may no longer appeal to you as they once did.
Phase 4
This is the maintenance phase of Metabolic Balance. By now, you should have a clear understanding of what foods work for you and what you enjoy eating. At this stage, 80% of successful clients continue to follow their plans, while 20% incorporate their own choices.dignissim.
Many clients love their breakfasts and these usually become a constant in their lives. Favourite meals will become a family staple each week but you can branch out experimenting with different flavours.
and if you ever go on an overseas holiday or go through a stressful period, you’ve got your plan there that you can just jump straight back into, because you’ll know exactly what to do.
